Hello from Joyville! Joyville, Inc. is the parent company for 4 growing retail brands, headquartered in Dallas, Texas. Our first store, Favor the Kind, began in 2007 with a flagship store in Dallas and additional locations in Houston and Crested Butte, Colorado. ROAM Fine Goods, our fancy sister store, came next with two locations in Dallas. In 2024 we are launching a sustainable apothecary, general store, and refillery called Earnest John Honest Goods. Lastly, we recently opened our passion project, a give-back kids store called The Friend Ship, inside ROAM to raise funds to send underprivileged kids to summer camp.

Favor the Kind Crested Butte is hiring an Operations and Visual Captain!
The Operation and Visuals Captain is a full-time, salaried manager role and reports to the Store Director. A successful Ops and Visual Manager seeks to turn chaos into order and finds joy in keeping the store vibrant and inspiring. This role is split between 70% operations and 30% customer-facing. Our customers always come first and you will be required to work with customers and complete operational and visual assignments.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the store's visual merchandising program
- Manage communication with the buying department
- Manage store supply levels
- Inventory management including cycle counts, product transfers, and damages
- Implement backstock and restock standards
The ideal candidate has:
- experience with visual merchandising
- a 'get it done' attitude and thrives on completing tasks quickly and efficiently
- an excitement for learning new things
- is a reliable decision-maker, problem solver, and effective communicator.
